  34. And, of course, they`ll never know how the A1200 will sell if it is slashed to
  35. 199 UK pounds because they can`t run at a loss like that.

  37. I can tell you I would have bought one if it was 199UK pounds. Magic pack or no
  38. Magic pack (although it would have been nice to have the magic pack! ;)

  40. A lot of people have held off the A1200 simply because of the price. The A1200
  41. might be old, but it`s not past it if it`s priced sensibly. The first thing I`d
  42. buy when I got an A1200 would have been to put a Blizzard A1230-IV/8Mb into it.
  43. Then a HD. All the other 3rd party hardware manufacturers lost out because the
  44. A100 base unit was simply too expensive.

  46. AT won`t like this, but they`ve got to break this catch 22 by slashing the
  47. price of the A1200. Lose the Magic pack, to reduce the impact on the few who
  48. bought the "full price A1200" and think up something else instead.

  50. IMHO, there *is* demand out there for Amigas. Just not at 399 UK pounds.
